Steps to Reset Phone
This reverts the device settings back to their factory defaults. It will permanently erase all personal data, and content such as pictures, ringtones and apps that are saved to the device. Data stored on an SD card will not be erased unless otherwise selected. It is recommended that you save (backup) important data to your SIM, SD card, or a computer before proceeding.
- From the standby screen, press the Menu icon.
- Scroll to and select Settings.
- Scroll to and select Privacy.
- Select Factory data reset.
- Read the displayed warning, then select Reset phone to continue.
- Read the displayed warning, then select Erase everything to continue. The phone will reboot.

- Power the device off.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key at the same time.
- After the Huawei logo and Android Logo appear, a blue setting screen will display. Release the Volume Up and Power keys.
- Scroll to Wipe data/factory reset and press the Power key to confirm the Master Reset.
- Scroll to Yes - delete all user data and press the Power key to confirm.
- When the Data wipe complete is displayed, select Reboot system now and press the Power key to confirm reboot.
- The device will power off and back on. Once powered on, go through initial device setup.
