How to master reset Samsung SCH-u490 Trance
Steps to Reset Settings
This resets the phone to factory default settings.
- From the main screen, press OK to choose Menu.
- Select Settings & Tools, then press OK.
- Select Phone Settings, then press OK.
- Select Security, then press OK.
- Enter lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
- Select Reset Default, then press OK.
- Select Yes, then press OK.
- Press OK.
Steps to Restore Phone
This erases all user data and contact information entered in phone memory and restore the handset to the original factory settings.
- From the main screen, press OK to choose Menu.
- Select Settings & Tools, then press OK.
- Select Phone Settings, then press OK.
- Select Security, then press OK.
- Enter lock code, then press OK. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
- Select Restore Phone, then press OK.
- Select Yes, then press OK.
- Press OK.
- Enter lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
