How to master reset Samsung SGH-a877 Impression
Reset phone
This feature resets the phone settings back to the factory defaults.
- From Idle mode, touch Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone ➔ Reset phone.
- At the All settings reset to factory defaults. Continue? prompt, touch Yes to reset, or No to cancel. Once your phone has been reset to its default settings for those selected options, it will restart itself in order to incorporate the new settings.
Restore phone
The Restore feature allows you to delete any user information that has been added, in addition to setting your phone options back to the factory defaults.
- From Idle mode, touch Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Phone ➔Restore phone.
- At the All settings reset to factory defaults and all user data will be deleted. Continue? prompt, touch Yes to reset, or No to cancel.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
