Steps to Reset Phone
This will reset the phone to factory default settings. It will permanently erase all personal data, preferences, settings and content such as pictures, ringtones and apps.
- From the Start screen, slide to the App menu, or tap arrow inside the circle icon.
- Flick to and tap Settings.
- Scroll to and tap about.
- Flick to and tap reset your phone.
- A confirmation message will be displayed. Tap yes. NOTE: Your phone will automatically be reset and may not function for up to 15 minutes.
Alternate way to Reset Phone

- With phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Up/DOWN keys simultaneously, and then press and hold the Power key until the test screen displays.
- Press Volume DOWN to select FACTORY RESET and then press the Power button.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
