Steps to Reset Phone
This restores the original factory settings and erases all user content, including downloaded ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory.
- From the Home screen, touch the Menu key.
- Touch Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset.
- Read the warning and touch Reset phone.
- Touch Erase everything.
Steps to Reset Phone using hardware keys
This restores the original factory settings and erases all user content, including downloaded ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory.
- Turn off the phone. If the phone is unresponsive and does not turn off, remove the battery and then re-insert it.
- Press and simultaneously hold the Volume Down, Qwerty F, and Qwerty A keys.
- Press and hold the Power/Lock key.
- Release only the Power/Lock key after you see the LG logo. Note: If you see the Android shooting up, the reset hasnt been completed and you will need to restart.
- Release the remaining keys after the LG logo flashes.
- The Android Unpacking screen appears.
- The phone will restart and complete the factory reset.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
