Steps to Perform Hard Reset
Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- From the home screen, select the Applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy.
- Select Factory data reset.
- Select Reset phone.If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
- Select Erase everything.
Alternate Method to Perform Hard Reset
Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- With the phone off, press and hold the Home key, Volume Down key and Power button. When the LG logo appears, release only the Power button.
- Release the Home key and Volume Down key when the Android icon appears.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
