Steps to perform Hard Reset
Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- From the home screen, touch Menu.
- Touch Settings.
- Touch Privacy.
- Touch Factory data reset.
- Touch Reset Phone. If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
- Touch Erase Everything.
Alternate method to perform Hard Reset
Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- While pressing the Vol up + Vol down at the same time, Power up the device (until the Android and exclamation displays).
- Pressing the End key will take you to the Android system recovery menu options.
- Using the Vol down key to navigate through your choices, highlight the wipe data/factory reset.
- Press and Hold the camera key to enter the sub menu
- Press Vol down to choose yes (Donot release camera key before choosing, otherwise it will back to main menu)
- Phone should reboot to initial setup screen, login with your account credentials as normal.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
