Steps to Reset Settings

This restores the device to factory settings but does not delete personal files, contacts, etc.

 

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu. 
  2. Scroll to and select Settings. 
  3. Scroll to and select Reset Device.
  4. Scroll to and select Restore Settings Only.
  5. Enter the security code.NOTE: There is no default security code; it is user defined the first time it is needed if it had not been previously set.
  6. The device will reset. This may take several minutes.

 

Steps to Reset Phone

This restores the device to factory settings and erases all personal files from the device

 

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu. 
  2. Scroll to and select Settings. 
  3. Scroll to and select Reset Device.
  4. Scroll to and select Restore All.
  5. Enter the security code.NOTE: There is no default security code; it is user defined the first time it is needed if it had not been previously set.
  6. The device will reset. This may take several minutes.

 

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
