Steps to Reset Phone
This will revert the device back to factory settings. It will permanently erase all personal data, preferences, settings and content such as pictures, ringtones and apps.
- From the Start screen, slide to the App menu, or tap arrow in a circle icon.
- Flick to and tap Settings.
- Scroll to and tap about.
- Flick to and tap reset your phone.
- A confirmation message will be displayed. Tap yes. NOTE: Your phone will automatically be reset and may not function for up to 15 minutes.
Alternate way to Reset Phone
This will revert the device back to factory settings. It will permanently erase all personal data, preferences, settings and content such as pictures, ringtones and apps.
- With phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Down and Camera keys simultaneously, and then press and hold the Power key until the screen goes black.
- Release the Power key but continue to hold down the Volume Down and Camera keys until the phone reboots.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
