Steps to Reset Phone
Reset Phone returns all Settings to their factory default values.
- From the Settings menu, select Phone Settings > Security.
- Enter lock code. The default lock code is last 4 digits of your phone number.
- Select Reset Phone.
- You will then be prompted to confirm that you want to restore default settings (except for the Contacts and Voice Dial). Press the Yes soft key.
Steps to Erase All Contacts
This erases your Contacts and Group information (except Default). This feature is useful if you want to give your phone to someone else
- From the Settings menu, select Phone Settings > Security.
- Enter lock code. The default lock code is last 4 digits of your phone number or 0000.
- Select Erase All Contacts.
- You will then be prompted to confirm erasure of all contact entries.Press the Yes soft key.
NOTE: This procedure does not delete your Photo Gallery. The Photo Gallery needs to be deleted separately.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
