Steps to Reset Settings

Resetting the default settings restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings.The Contacts, Call History, Calendar, and Messaging are not affected.

 

  1. Press Menu (the round key in center)> Settings > More... > Security.
  2. Select Delete/Reset > Reset All Settings and press OK (the round key in center). 
  3. Read the disclaimer and press OK .
  4. If you are certain that you would like to restore all the factory settings, press Yes (left softkey).

 

Steps to Reset Phone

Resetting the phone resets all settings, including the ringer types and display settings.This option will delete all data on your phone.

 

  1. Press Menu (the round key in center) > Settings > More... > Security.
  2. Select Delete/Reset > Reset Phone and press OK (the round key in center). 
  3. Read the disclaimer and press OK .
  4. If you are certain that you would like to reset your phone, press Yes (left softkey).

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
