Steps to Reset Settings

A reset of settings clears only the settings to default.  Address book and other content remains.

 

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Select General.
  4. Scroll to and select Master Reset.
  5. Select Reset Settings.
  6. A confirmation window displays, press Continue.
  7. Press Continue to restart the device.

 

Steps to perform Master Reset

The device will be set back to factory settings; all data stored on the device will be lost.

 

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Select General.
  4. Scroll to and select Master Reset.
  5. Select Reset Device.
  6. A confirmation window displays, press Continue.
  7. Press Continue to restart the device.

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
